One hit film is enough to change the fortunes of any actor/actress forever. This happens not just with lead actors, but also character artists too. Not many films come which grab the attraction of the audience on each and every character. One such film that recently released was ‘Baahubali’ franchise.
The epic saga Baahubali has done a lot for the Indian film industry. From giving recognition to actors like Prabhas, Rana Daggubati, Sathyaraj and Ramya Krishnan, the film also gave new benchmarks to the upcoming Indian films. It has set an altogether different level of film making for the Indian filmmakers.
The iconic Baahubali series made us all a huge fan of not only SS Rajamouli and Prabhas but also the entire star cast of the film. And one such prominent role in the film was that of Sivagami Devi played by the actress, Ramya Krishnan. Sivagami, aka Ramya Krishna, the actress who transformed from a glamorous heroine to powerhouse performer.
Ramya Krishnan became a household name across India soon after she portrayed the iconic character of Rajmata Shivgami Devi in SS Rajamouli’s two-part magnum opus Baahubali movie. On a related note, Ramya Krishnan is going through a terrific phase on the professional front these days.
Ramya has been a part of a number of Hindi films in the past but Baahubali turned the tide for her, thereby making her hugely popular. The success of Baahubali catapulted Sivagami into a new high that she even got a chance to feature on cover pages of magazines.
On the latest issue of JFW magazine, Ramya poses quite elegantly exuding both her royal charm and also that glamor tinge.

Ramya Krishnan has graced the cover of JFW Magazine’s August issue. JFW is South India’s leading women’s magazine and we are sure not just the ladies, even the men will be in awe of her beauty. Ramya is more open to doing mother roles now, but she’s carefully picking her choices as she doesn’t want to be mother-next-door but only a powerful one.
Currently, she has ‘Sabaash Naidu’ and ‘Thaana Serndha Kootam’ in her kitty. TSK is touted to be an action-thriller and features Suriya in the lead. On the other hand, ‘Sabaash Naidu’ is a spy-comedy and is being directed by the iconic Kamal Haasan.
