Rashi Khanna debuted in Hindi industry with the movie Madras Cafe but failed to get enough recognition in the Bollywood industry. After seeing her acting performance in the movie Madras Cafe Srinivas Avasarala approached her to act in his movie and that is how Rashi Khanna was introduced into the Telugu film industry in the movie “Oohalu Gusagusalaade” and was widely acclaimed for her role in the movie.
Rashi Khanna has many commercial hits like Jil, Shivam, Bengal Tiger, Supreme, Jai Lava Kusa etc and she also did a cameo in the movie “Manam.”
Recently there are many rumors revolving around the actress that she is secretly dating Indian bowler Jasprit Bumrah. Rashi Khanna did not react to these rumors earlier, but recently in a Talk Show, she was asked her relationship status with the bowler. That is when Rashi Khanna decided to give an end card to this baseless rumors.
She said that she had never meant Bumrah personally and all these rumors are completely baseless. She further added that the whole incident is sad as they are starting to write any random rumor on a woman. Rashi said that,
“I know that Bumrah is an Indian cricketer, that’s it. There is nothing beyond that. I don’t know him personally and I have even never met him yet. There is no truth in it (relationship rumors). It is sad to see such linkup rumors circulating on social media about a woman without any proper information,”
Rashi Khanna was last seen in the movie “Tholi Prema” opposite Varun Tej where her character was widely acclaimed by the critics. Rashi Khanna got widely famous in the youth, with her role Varsha in the movie. The movie is about first love which ends up due to misunderstandings and ego between the couple.
Rashi Khanna is correctly working in the Tamil action movie “Shaitan Ka Bachcha” opposite Siddharth. The movie is being directed by Karthik G. Krish and is scheduled to get released in May 2018.
She is also working on the movie Srinivasa Kalyanam opposite Nithiin. The film is being produced by Dil Raju and directed by Satish Vegesna. Dil Raju first approached NTR and Ram Charan for the role but ended up in casting Nithiin as the male lead in the movie. The music is been composed by Mickey J. Meyer
