‘Jab We Met’ is one of the biggest hits in Shahid Kapoor and Kareena Kapoor’s careers, thanks to the sizzling chemistry between them and wonderful direction by Imtiaz Ali. The film was loved a lot by the audiences when it was released and still, people like to watch it whenever it is telecasted on television.
It has been 9 years since the movie released but thanks to satellite television, there’s hardly a week that goes by without the sight of this film. The movie introduced Geet as the typical north Indian girl, Shahid as the ultimate lover boy, and Imtiaz Ali as the man who knows the art of telling a love story.
But, nobody forgets one character in the movie, it is Anshuman, Geet’s boyfriend. It was so hard to not hate him but he became the worst boyfriend ever. What happened to the actor who played Anshuman? We’ve hardly seen him in Bollywood ever since.
The character of Anshuman was played by Tarun Arora in the film. Tarun was a model before he started acting and even won the Gladrags Manhunt in 1998.
After a few commercials and film appearances, he bagged the character of Anshuman in Jab We Met.
And you will be shocked to see how Tarun looks now. We have to admit that aging has definitely made him hotter and if today we ask Geet to choose between Aditya and Anshuman, she might have chosen the latter.
Tarun has recently found fame in Kollywood. He played the character of a villain in a Tamil movie “Kanithan” which was a blockbuster and he can easily be called one of the hottest villains of present times.
During an interaction, he told, he expressed his desire of becoming the next big villain. “Now, I have found my strength. I do not mind being typecast and I am ready to experiment. I want to become the next ‘big’ villain in Tamil cinema,” Tarun said.
These recent photographs of him are going to make it so hard to dislike him. The man has got the ball rolling and his transformation game is so strong, it’s not even funny.
When he’s not acting, Tarun is busy managing his restaurants in Bangalore & Goa. Another interesting fact about Tarun, he is married to “Pyaar Kiya Toh Darna Kya” fame actress Anjala Zaveri.
