We all know Bollywood veteran actor Rishi Kapoor is well admired for his straightforwardness with media and Twitter. Yes, he is very open minded and never hesitates in speaking the truth. Wrong or right, Rishi Kapoor makes sure he speaks about it on his Twitter handle.
We all know that he was a good friend to Vinod Khanna. The actor who was suffering from bladder cancer, breathed his last yesterday.
His death has saddened the whole industry. Many celebrities from the cricket world and Bollywood industry mourned the tragic demise of the superstar and took to Twitter to pay their last respect.
However, there were also people like Amitabh Bachchan who reportedly left an interview mid-way to be the grieving family. He was joined by many industry veterans but especially Rishi Kapoor, who came back home more anguished than he had expected.
Rishi Kapoor went on a Twitter rant and highlighted some of his valid observations. Rishi Kapoor slammed the young age actors who did not show up at the funeral but showed up at Priyanka Chopra’s party.
There were few of them who had even worked with the star himself and hardly anyone came and paid respect at his funeral. So, a furious and emotional ‘Akbar’ lashed out on Twitter. He started his tweet with just highlighting the fact that no new age actors have come to the funeral.
Here are his tweets:
Shameful. Not ONE actor of this generation attended Vinod Khanna’s funeral. And that too he has worked with them. Must learn to respect.

He then wrote, “Why this? Including mine and thereafter. When I die, I must be prepared.None will shoulder me. Very very angry with today’s so called stars.”,

Before questions, he also pointed out and explained that Neetu Singh and Ranbir couldn’t make it because they were out of the country!
Yes it has been expressed earlier on social media my wife and Ranbir are out of the country. Would never had been reason not to be there

Lastly, he didn’t miss out on the opportunity to call out the ‘chamchas’ who attended Priyanka Chopra‘s homecoming bash but not Vinod Khanna’s funeral.
Angry. Met so many chamcha people last night at Priyanka Chopra’s do last night. Few at Vinod’s. So fuckn transparent. So angry with them.

Apart from the name-calling, Rishi Kapoor does make a point. He ultimately slammed everyone who attended Priyanka’s party but not Vinod Khanna’s funeral
