Salman Khan’s First Ad With Tiger Shroff’s Mother Ayesha Shroff Is Going Viral

Bollywood actor Salman Khan may be a big superstar now, but like many of his contemporaries, he started out quite young and faced a lot of problems during his starting days. The film industry was not same as it is presently for Salman.

Salman Khan’s hit film ‘Saajan’ completes 26 years and his looks from the film, with slightly long hair, was a hit at that time. However, we found something predating his ‘Saajan’ years, his first advertisement when he was just 15 years old and had a similar hairstyle.

Dressed in a sleeveless T-shirt, Salman perhaps was a fitness freak even that time. While the lanky lad went on to become one of the biggest superstars, this ad sees him as one amongst many actors. This video is a special treat for every Salman Khan fan.

Another surprise element is his co-star in the video, who is none other than Tiger Shroff’s mother, Ayesha Shroff.

We have seen Salman Khan endorsing soft drinks several times, the recent example being the Thumbs Up ads. But there’s something about old TVCs, which only speak of the social status and charisma of the stars. But do you know how Salman Khan had bagged the commercial? Of course, because he was a star kid!

The advertisement was shot for Campa Cola brand. But did you know the ad filmmaker was not convinced enough to rope him in? Here’s the story:

“We needed good swimmers, who could swim underwater for the Campa Cola ad campaign, we were shooting in the Andaman Island,” ad filmmaker Kailash Surendranath told and added, “Fortunately, Aarti found Salman. (Aarti is one of the models featuring in the ad, who was also dating the filmmaker at that time. Later, they got married to each other.) Her dad had suggested him, as he was a friend of Salim Saab.”

“He was just 16 at that time, but she’d seen him dive underwater and told me he was perfect and packed him off to me. But when I saw him, I was amused as he looked like a kid. But then on Aarti’s insistence, I made him take off his shirt and boy, even at that age he was ripped! So we signed him on.”
