Shashi Tharoor Gets Marriage Proposal During The Delhi Pride Parade, His Reply Won The Hearts Of Netizens

Congressman Shashi Tharoor is nothing less than the only hope and certainly the center of attraction the UPA has got. Just like the oasis in the desert, Tharoor is the only person that can elevate Congress party he literally has got the power to renew the once lived monotony of the party.

Right from the “Exasperating farrago of distortions“, he has always been the epitome of trolls and memes on social media. It might be his English or the logical things he perpetuates on the rivals, Tharoor is always a winner in his space of wisdom and fun.

Earlier, Shashi Tharoor’s picture has come out on social media roping in crazy captions replicating his slang and sense of humor. In the picture he is seen staring at the family portrait of Gandhi family (old picture), the picture has Rajiv Gandhi, Indira Gandhi, their pet dog and Sonia Gandhi.

Now, again after a while, the politician is trending on the social media for his candid response to the boy who has come up with a marriage proposal. Yes, you read that right.

Sharing the picture, Tarun Bora, an Instagram user, wrote, “And it’s not only him” on November 13.

The incident took place at the Delhi Pride Parade, while the members of LGBTQI community walked the 10th Queer Pride march in Delhi and asked questions, one of them had a proposal for Tharoor. A picture of a boy, with the Twitter, handle Surya HK, holding a chart paper that read, “Shashi Tharoor, marry me” was posted on Instagram on November 13.

Later, this drew the attention of Shashi Tharoor after the same is printed in a magazine. And, it is Tharoor’s reply which one cannot afford missing. He wrote, “Haha! Now if they were only registered to vote in Thiruvananthapuram, it would be even better!” This certainly is a witty response from the former author.

Here’s his reply:

Starting with demanding him to be the Prime Minister of India, another wrote that he too is coming up with a proposal. On the other hand, a person from abroad said, “I wish I was eligible for voting in India… this guy is wowsome.”
