Sri Devi Desperately Wanted To Act In This Movie Before Her Demise!!

Sri Devi’s untimely demise shocked the entire nation and most of the people thought it was just another hoax as the actress was doing fine just a day before until it was confirmed by her brother-in-law, Sanjay Kapoor. There were many rumors about her untimely death and her relative also revealed some shocking statements about her personal life which left the whole world speculating if it was a natural death or a murder.

But Dubai’s prosecution cleared off the rumors stating that Sri Devi fell unconscious and drowned in the bathtub. Her death reason was confirmed as accidental drowning which left the world in despair. Sri Devi started her acting career as a child actress at the age of 4 and eventually made her name as the leading actress in South India.

After reigning South India and acting with every top actor in South Industry, she moved on to Bollywood industry to make her name here. One of the best movies in Sri Devi’s Bollywood career was Mr.India. She acted with Anil Kapoor, her brother-in-law in the movie and mesmerized the audience with her skills and beauty.

She soon made it big in Bollywood industry also and worked in famous movies like Chandni, Nagina, Chaalbaaz, Ladla and proved herself in the industry but she desperately wanted to act in the sequel of Mr. India 2 before her sudden demise. She officially gave a statement saying that she wanted to act in the film and talks are being made by Boney Kapoor though the cast isn’t finalized yet.

She said,

“I think it is too early to talk about it, people always come to my husband and ask him or me when will the part two happen. It will definitely happen because the way we are seeing the reaction we want it to happen. We have not reached till the stage of casting.”

She was at peaks of her career when she married Boney Kapoor as she was pregnant with Janhvi Kapoor she bid adieu to the Film industry. She didn’t work in any movies until her daughters were grown up as she felt that they needed her more than the industry.

She made her comeback with the movie “English Vinglish” which was a super hit and showed that her acting skills are naturally gifted to her. Her last movie was “Mom.” We can never imagine anyone else in place of Sri Devi if Boney ever decides to make a sequel to Mr.India. RIP Chandni.
