The Avengers: Endgame Is Now The Second-Highest Grossing Movie At The Domestic Box Office

The Avengers: Endgame is now the second-highest grossing movie at the domestic box office after bringing in $780 million USD since it was released in April.

The number one spot still belongs to the Star Wars: The Force Awakens, the movie made $936.6 million USD.

Alan Horn, the chairman of the Walt Disney Studios, released a statement when the Avengers: Endgame made $1 Billion USD global, he said, “Kevin Feige and the Marvel Studios team have continued to challenge notions of what is possible at the movie theatre both in terms of storytelling and at the box office.”

Alan added, “Though Endgame is far from an end for the Marvel Cinematic Universe, these first 22 films constitute a sprawling achievement, and this weekend’s monumental success is a testament to the world they’ve envisioned, the talent involved, and their collective passion, matched by the irrepressible enthusiasm of fans around the world.”

The Avengers: Endgame is considered as the most anticipated movie in this decade, it took 22 movies and 11 years for Marvel to make the movie.

So far the movie has made $2.6 Billion USD, many fans consider the movie as the “best film ever”.

When the movie was released, 4 out of 5 tickets belonged to the Avengers: Endgame in the USA alone.

The movie made $329 Million USD in China alone.
