Nutan is one of the most popular, veteran and most experienced actress in the Bollywood industry who had mesmerized the audience with her roles in the movies like Seema, Sujata, Bandini, Milan, Main Tulsi Tere Aangan Ki, Anari, Chhalia, Tere Ghar Ke Saamne, Saraswatichandra, Anuraag, and Saudagar.
She had killer looks and the way she presented herself on screen was truly admirable. Now Nutan is presenting her granddaughter Pranutan, who adopted the looks of her grandmother and is all set to rule the Bollywood industry.
Pranutan is the daughter of the famous actor Mohnish Bahl and Ekta Sohini and is pursuing her masters from Mumbai Industry. This 24-year-old beauty is also keen to complete her education before making her big Bollywood debut. Mohinish is very protective of his daughter and had kept her away from the limelight. But Pranutan is very much interested in acting and wants to continue her grand mother’s legacy.
When asked about her favorite movie of Nutan, she gushed and said
“I loved my grandmother in Sujata (1959), Bandini (1963) and Saudagar (1973). And my father was fabulous in Maine Pyar Kiya (1989) on the big screen, and in the TV show, Devi (2002-2004).”
Mohinish also talked about her interest in completing education before entering into B-town,
“The offer should be worthy of the legacy that comes with Nutan’s name. She is very particular about not putting that down in any way. I think the media was buzzing so much about her images because of her family background and the fact that she looks so much like her grandmother. She is very interested in a film debut, but her priorities are firm and she wanted to complete her education first.”
When she was asked about Bollywood offers and her interest in acting she said,
“I am very keen on being an actor. As far as offers are concerned, they were coming through my studying years but at that time, I wanted to focus on education. Now, I have got a few offers but there is nothing concrete.”
Pranutan was also asked about her competition with other star kids like Sara Ali Khan and Janhvi Kapoor. She simply replied with a grace that,
“I think healthy competition is important. It helps you perform better. Jhanvi and Sara are both stunning and talented. It would be great to debut with them at the same time.”
Pranutan is a Law graduate and also have a fetish for dance and arts. Looks like Sara Ali Khan and Janhvi Kapoor have a strong contender who can take the ball into her court from under their noses in no time.
