The Next 007: Lashana Lynch Confirms Her No Time To Die Character Is The Next Super Agent

Lashana Lynch has confirmed that her character in the “007: No Time To Die” is the next super-agent.

This also makes her the first-ever black female to ever be one.

Lynch is in the movie as Nomi, an agent.

It was recently debated that Idris Elba would be the next one, but Nomi has just been confirmed to be the next 007.

During an interview with Harper’s Bazaar, she explained how she wants her character to be portrayed in the movie.

She told the publication:

A character that is too slick, a cast-iron figure? That’s completely against what I stand for. I didn’t want to waste an opportunity when it came to what Nomi might represent. I searched for at least one moment in the script where Black audience members would nod their heads, tutting at the reality but glad to see their real life represented. In every project I am part of, no matter the budget or genre, the Black experience that I’m presenting needs to be 100 per cent authentic.

Earlier this year, the news of Lynch taking over the title of 007 was leaked on social media, and as a result, she had to delete her social media for a couple of weeks.

She also faced racist remarks about this horrible news.

Yrsa Daley-Ward talked about what Lynch had to do at the time. she said:

For a week, she deleted her social media apps, meditated, and saw no one but family, while comforting herself with the knowledge that the aggressive comments were ultimately not personal.

Talking about racism and her role in the new movie, Lynch said:

I am one Black woman — if it were another Black woman cast in the role, it would have been the same conversation, she would have got the same attacks, the same abuse. I just have to remind myself that the conversation is happening and that I’m a part of something that will be very, very revolutionary.

Despite all the hate that she had received on the internet and from people, Lynch said she did not take anything personally.

Lynch is next in line, so this news just confirmed that found – No Time Die is Daniel Craig’s last James Bond movie.

“No Time To Die” is set to be in theaters on April 2 next year.

Daniel Craig, Rami Malek, Lea Seydoux, Lashana Lynch, Ana de Armas, Naomie Harries, and Ben Whishsaw are just some of the leading actors in the movie.
