Sridevi Had Special Plans For Janhvi’s 21st Birthday, After Her Death, This Is How Janhvi Will Celebrate It
Sridevi’s untimely death has left a void in the entire film fraternity in India. On February 25, the country woke up to the shocking news of one of a legendary actress of Bollywood Sridevi’s death. Indian cinema lost the versatile actress and gems Sridevi who breathe her last in a family function in Dubai.
She was in Dubai to attend her nephew Mohit Marwah’s wedding when she suffered a cardiac arrest on Saturday night, leaving her family, fans, and Bollywood in shock. While her husband Boney Kapoor and younger daughter Khushi Kapoor accompanied Sridevi to the wedding in Dubai, Janhvi decided to stay behind in Mumbai to shoot for her debut film Dhadak.
Needless to say, last 10 days have been quite difficult for the Kapoor family, especially Sridevi’s daughters Khushi and Janhvi and husband Boney who never expected such an unfortunate happening just before 10 days of Janhvi’s 21st birthday.
Janhvi and Khushi must be terribly missing their mother every minute and today, We can feel how lonely she must be feeling on this special day as her mother is no more there with her. Sridevi was planning Janhvi a birthday party, which Boney Kapoor knew about. So the family is keeping a small celebration for them.
Reveals a source to Pinkvilla, “Sridevi had a few plans for Janhvi and she had discussed with Boney. Nobody knew something so unfortunate will happen before that. Despite this great loss, Boney Kapoor plans to celebrate Janhvi’s birthday with the entire family being by her side. It will be a tough one for the young girl.”
Adds another source, “Boney Kapoor and the family do not want anyone to give any condolences on Janhvi’s birthday and they want it to be a happy day. In fact, Arjun Kapoor’s sister Anshula Kapoor too will be a part of this celebration. Anshula, who is currently with Arjun in Punjab, where the actor is shooting for Namaste England, will be specially flying down to be with the family. Her tickets have been booked and all the arrangements for the dinner are being made.”
As per the reports, we hear that Janhvi is going to spend her 21st birthday at an orphanage, a ritual that her mom had initiated in the family, years ago. The darling daughter of Sridevi wants to spread lots of love and happiness to the orphans who are not even blessed with a family.
Sonam Kapoor, who also broke into tears during Sridevi’s final rites, took to Instagram to wish her little one.

On the work front, Janhvi is all set to make her big Bollywood debut in Karan Johar’s home production Dhadak which also stars Ishaan Khatter. The movie is slated to hit the silver screens in July. May you have a peaceful and pleasant one this year.
