After Amitabh Bachchan, Varun Dhawan Is Getting A Wax Statue At Hong Kong’s Madame Tussauds Museum

Debuting with the Karan Johar’s Bollywood high-school drama “Student Of The Year”, actor Varun Dhawan has made an astounding entry into the film industry. With no arrears in regarding the box-office collections, it was his demeanor all the way. As of now, Varun has done 9 films, and there’s no single flaw in any of them, not only in critical response point of view, the box office collections and the critical acclaim for his actions were no-way gone.

Varun’s career isn’t limited to the home-style emotional dramas, he surprised people with his amusing dances in the sequel to the prior dance flick “ABCD”. With the rugged age-old look in “Badlapur”, he stunned audience being the show-stopper throughout the social drama.

On a brief note, it can be plainly said that there’s no single actor in Bollywood who maintained such an esteemed 9-movie-hit streak.

Talking about the same, Varun Dhawan said, “Varun while talking to a leading website said, “It was quite surprising to me when they approached for it. I remember, as a kid in my holidays, visiting Madame Tussauds and clicking pictures with Mahatma Gandhi’s statue. So, this is a huge deal for me to be the youngest actor from India to get his own statue.”

On a purpose to complete this, he even met the team for measurements in New Delhi, where he is shooting for October. Over 200 measurements were reportedly taken of the actor so as to make the wax figure perfect to the T.

Meanwhile, the General Manager of Madame Tussauds Hong Kong, Jenny You, said, “Varun Dhawan is one of the most requested figures and we are delighted to be partnering with this Bollywood great actor. Hong Kong is a multicultural metropolis which makes us a unique brand. Visitors can meet both Hollywood, Asian and also Bollywood stars here at Madame Tussauds Hong Kong.”

Jenny added, “The worldwide popularity of Bollywood films makes people in Hong Kong increasingly embrace Bollywood culture. As the first youngest Indian Bollywood actor to be waxed, we are confident that Varun’s figure will bring visitors an all-new experience.”

Tweeted, “Huge honor can’t wait to come here and stare down my wax figure. Thank you”.

Earlier, Mahatma Gandhi, Narendra Modi, and Amitabh Bachchan were honored with the same, and Varun will be the only fourth Indian to be so.
