Remember that feeling of anticipation as you waited for your baby teeth to fall out? Over the years, parents have come up with some crazy ways to help their kids pull out a loose baby tooth. The most common method of pulling a tooth included tying some string to the loose tooth and attaching the string to a door knob. But this dad’s plan was nuts — literally.
For the first time, in the history of humankind, David Freiheit pulled out his daughter Mila’s loose tooth using dental floss, a piece of granola bar, and, oh yeah, a live squirrel. They attached some dental floss to the loose tooth on one end, tied the dental floss to a piece of granola bar on the other, and you must watch to know what happened next!

Finally, it was a win-win all around.
Interacting with wildlife always carries some risks, luckily, everything has turned out fine for them. We’re not sure most dentists would recommend this method of tooth extraction. Kudos to this fearless dad-daughter duo!
