The 63rd National Film Awards are just announced. Telugu film Baahubali has won the Best Film award at 63rd National Film Award. Bollywood superstar Amitabh Bachchan won the Best Actor award for his role in ‘Piku’ while Kangana Ranaut won Best Actress for her role in ‘Tanu Weds Manu Returns.”
Every year, a national panel appointed by the government selects the winning entry, and the award ceremony is held in New Delhi, where the President of India presents the awards. The 63rd National Film Awards ceremony will be held on 3rd May 2016 during which the Directorate of Film Festivals of India presents its annual National Film Awards to all the winners.
