Amma Kanakku Tamil Movie Story, Review & Rating:
A Class 10 student is giving up on studies because she knows her mother (Amala Paul), a house-help, will not be able to provide for her higher studies. Her mother tries hard and even enrolls her for math tuition but she thinks only children of rich parents become doctors or engineers and believes she will end up being a maid too, like her mother. To change her perspective of life, the mother herself gets enrolled into school.
Amala Paul has taken a bold decision and has acted as the mother of a 13-year-old girl in this film. Good direction & awesome acting by the actors are the major highlights of the movie. The content is weak & the Screenplay is not that good like expected by the movie.
Plus Points:
- Direction
- Music
- Lead actors performance
Minus Points:
- Script
- Screenplay
- Editing
All India Roundup Rating: 3/5
Final Verdict: The film has an important message for all parents. The way makers presented the movie is good but the content is weak.
