Tamil Movie ‘Aviyal’ starring Nivin Pauly, Bobby Simha and Arjunan Nandakumar in the main roles was released today in theaters. The film is a collection of five Tamil short films made by various directors, including Alphonse Puthren, Sameer Sulthan, Lokesh Kanakaraj, Mohit Mehra and Guru Smaran. Produced by Karthik Subbaraj’s Stone Bench Creations, the film is being released by Thenandal Films.
Following the encouraging response to Bench Talkies – The First Bench (2015), Karthik Subbaraj announced plans of releasing a second anthology of short films soon after the initial project had released.
