Tollywood’s 2016 latest Telugu Romantic Thriller movie ‘Drushya Kavyam’ featuring Karthik, Kashmira Kulakarni in lead roles was released today in theaters. Written and directed by Bellam Ramakrishna Reddy, Drushya Kavyam is a low budget Telugu film. The movie has music composed by ‘Pranam’ movie fame Kamlakhar. Presented by Bellam Sudha Reddy, the movie also features Ali, Prudhvi Raj, Satyam Rajesh, Jeeva, Madhu Nandan, Jabardast Team – Sudigali Sudheer, Racha Ravi, Rakesh etc.

Drushya Kavyam Movie Story Line, Review & Rating:
The story of this movie starts with a little girl reading her father’s diary. with a flashback of how her parents Akhil and Abhinaya, met, fell in love, got married, and started a family. The hero sets off on a trip to Europe, and his best friend gets a phone call stating that there was an accident and that the hero, Akhil died in the accident.
When the friend goes to the hero’s house, he sees his family talking to him over the phone. What happened to Akhil? Whose ghost do they see in the house regularly? All this forms the rest of the story.
The first two songs of the movie were soothing, but the rest of the songs are wrongly placed, one could even say that they were unnecessary. The horror element is shown only in a few scenes, failing to hold the genre of the movie till the end.
