Bollywood superstar Shah Rukh Khan‘s vehicle was allegedly attacked by some right-wing activists in Ahmedabad, Gujarat. His effigies were burnt on Sunday as he and co-star Mahira Khan filmed at Sarkhej Roza in Ahmedabad for his next movie “Raees”.
According to ANI, The actor was, however, not present in the car. No case has been filed in the incident so far.

Earlier this month, Vishwa Hindu Parishad (VHP) members protested against the shooting of Bollywood superstar Shah Rukh Khan’s film ‘Raees’ in Bhuj, Gujarat.
Shah Rukh Khan had entered the ongoing debate on intolerance on November 2 last year by expressing that there was “extreme intolerance” in the country. In Kutch, Vishva Hindu Parishad (VHP) and Bajrang Dal’s workers protested against SRK on this issue.

Now Khan has come under criticism for supporting artists, writers who returned their awards against growing intolerance in the country.
Will Shah Rukh now go back and shoot the remaining portions in Gujarat? Or will he ask the director to recreate the Ahmedabad sets in Mumbai itself? Let’s wait and find out.
