LG Launched K10, K7 as Mid-Range K-Series Android Smartphones – Check out the Specs Sheet!

LG Electronics, one of the popular Electronics manufacturers has unveiled two new smartphones under the K-series namely LG K10 and LG K7 ahead of the CES 2016 trade show. The company has announced its first K-Series smartphones, the LG K10 and LG K7. The company touts that the latest K-series achieves its L-Series. The South Korean tech giant claims that the two K-series smartphones feature the glossy pebble design.

Both the devices come with amazing photography capabilities along with the ‘premium UX’ features they bring from higher-end devices. However, the company has not yer revealed the pricing and availability details of the new Android smartphones. Earlier in the month of November, the company has launched two new smartphones namely LG Spirit LTE and LG G4 Stylus 4G in India.

“Our 2016 K Series is the latest example of LG applying it best mobile technology and premium design philosophy across numerous smartphone categories,” said Juno Cho, president and CEO of LG Electronics Mobile Communications Company. “Customers equate the LG name with great smartphone imaging technology and we are committed to delivering on that flattering expectation.”

Specifications of LG 10

The LG K10 smartphone sports 5.3-inch HD display with a pixel resolution of 720×1280 pixels. It is an Android 5.1 Lollipop-based smartphone that comes in two variants based on 3G and 4G LTE connectivity support. Under the hood, the 3G variant handset is powered by a quad-core 1.3GHz processor and it has not specified the processor. On the Camera front, the device comes equipped with an 8-megapixel rear camera and based on the smartphone market, an 8-megapixel or 5-megapixel front-facing camera.

The smartphone is power-packed by a 2300mAh battery. While the 4G LTE variant of K10 smartphone comes powered by a quad-core processor clocked at either 1.3GHz or 1.2GHz, or an octa-core processor clocked at 1.14GHz depending on the market. On the camera front, the device comes equipped with a 13-megapixel rear camera along with 8-megapixel or 5-megapixel front-facing camera.

The company will offer three distinct memory configurations for both K10 variants such as 1GB, 1.5GB, and 2GB. On the storage front, the LG K10 includes an onboard storage of 16GB or 8GB. The smartphone is backed by a 2300mAh battery. The LG K10 smartphone measures 146.6 x 74.8 x 8.8mm and will be exclusively available in three colour variants such as White, Indigo, and Gold colour variants.

Specifications of LG 7

The LG K7 smartphone also runs Android 5.1 Lollipop operating system out-of-the-box but sports pretty much less effectual innards as compared to its sibling LG K10. The K7 smartphone also arrives in two variants such as 3G and 4G LTE supporting variants. The 3G variant comes powered by a quad-core processor which is clocked at 1.3GHz while the 4G LTE model is powered by a 1.1GHz quad-core SoC processor.

Both the LG K7 variants sport a 5-inch FWVGA display with a pixel resolution of 854 x 480 pixels. While the 3G variant sports on-cell touch technology, the 4G LTE variant is listed to feature in-cell touch technology. On the camera front, the device comes equipped with an 8-megapixel or 5-megapixel rear cameras. On the other side, the handset packs a 5-megapixel front-facing camera. The handset comes with a 1.5GB or 1GB RAM. On the Storage front, the smartphone includes an internal storage of 8GB or 16GB.

The 3G variant of LG K7 smartphone measures 143.6 x 72.5 x 9.05mm. The device is power-packed by a 2125mAh battery. The 3G model is available in three colour variants such as White, Black, and Gold. The 4G LTE version measures 143.6 x 72.5 x 8.9mm, and will be exclusively available in Titan colour. Some other features of the LG K10 and LG K7 smartphones include 2.5D Arc Glass design along with Gesture Shot, Tap and Shot, and Gesture Interval shot function for capturing snapshots.
