10 Home Remedies To Get Rid Of Eye Stye – Check Now

Stye, a red painful lump near the edge of the eyelid that may look like a boil or a pimple caused because of bacterial infection of the gland at the base of an eyelash. In India, more than 1 million cases were registered per year. Styes are often filled with pus. Sometimes a stye can form on the inner part of the eyelid. Home Remedies For Eye Stye:

1. Apply Warm Water To The Affected Area:

One of the easy and simple remedy for the stye is applying a warm compress. Firstly, boil a liter of water and then let it cool down. Later, take a clean cloth and then dip it in the water and put it over the stye for a considerable point of time.

Try changing the water time to time. Follow this three to four times daily, until the pus is released. Wipe away the pus using a clean towel. Do this until pus stops coming out.

2. Green Tea/ Black Tea Bags:

We all know that drinking green tea which has natural anti-inflammatory compounds makes us healthier. Also, it helps to reduce pain and inflammation and diminish the stye.

Dip a green tea bag in warm water for a few minutes and remove the excess water. Then press the moist tea bag over the affected eyelid every ten minutes a day until it disappears.

3. Coriander Leaves:

It is the most effective natural treatment against a stye. Boil a teaspoon seeds of coriander in water then let the solution cool down.

Filter it and use it on the stye at least 3 times a day. These seeds can help in reducing the pain, redness and swelling.

4. Tomato- To Relieve The Pain:

Cut a fresh tomato into slices and place them on the affected area for 5 minutes for at least 3 times a day. It also helps you to get a brighter skin.

5. Turmeric – Natural antibacterial:

Turmeric has antibacterial and anti-inflammatory properties which help in getting rid of a sty quickly. Boil a cup of water and add a teaspoon of turmeric to it until the liquid reduced to half. Use this solution on affected area at least 2 or 3 times a day.

 6.  Aloe Vera – Reduces Redness:

It has soothing, antibacterial and anti-inflammatory properties. It helps in reducing redness, swelling and inflammation.

Cut a sheet of the plant in half so that it opens in the middle and extract gel from it. Rub the gel over the affected area with the cotton swab 3-4 times a day and also rinse your eyes with road water or chamomile after.

7. Parsley Leaves – To Reduce Inflammation:

Boil 2 parsley leaves in a bowl of water. Let the water cool for a while. Later, compress on the affected area as it will help to reduce inflammation for 2 times a day.

8. Cucumber – Gives Relaxing Effect:

Not only for makeup cucumber helps in reducing the stye.

You need to do cut it into slices and put it over the affected area.

9. Acacia – To Reduce The Pain:

Boil acacia leaves in glasses of boiled water. Keep the leaves inside of a good amount of time so that the solution cools down a bit and also the essence of the plant passes through the water. Take a clean cloth and put it in the solution and put it over your eye for at least 10 minutes.

10. Chamomile Leaves:

Add a pinch of chamomile leaves to a glass of water and filter the solution and let it cool down.
