More than one hundred tourists that were stuck in Bir Billing, this is located in Himachal Pradesh’s Kangra district have been rescued.

Around 60 vehicles were stuck in the area when a landslide happened near the Point 5 Area on Friday evening.

A rescue team was sent by the government after they were informed about the incident, they said all the tourists were rescued during the 1 hour 30 minutes long operation.

Rameshwar Dass the Baijnath Sub-divisional Magistrate said: “The rescue team led by Special Area Development Authority supervisor Ranvijay cleared the blocked road in one-and-a-half-hour.”

DSP Baijanath has deployed police force on the Bir Billing road, he did this to make sure everyone is safe.
