Hyderabad: Ganesh Immersion Traffic Restrictions On Sept 5

On the occasion of Ganesh immersion, the Cyberabad police have decided the traffic restrictions in the city on 5th September i.e next Tuesday. Usually, Ganesh immersion will take place on the ninth and eleventh day from Ganesh Chathurthi. On this day many numbers of devotees will follow the procession by chanting “Ganesh Bappa Morya” and “Ganesh Maharaj ki Jai”.

This year there were about 6000+ idols are going for the immersion around the lakes of Hyderabad. The major idol from Hyderabad is 60 ft idol that is placed at Khairatabad. For this Cyberabad police have made some plan for the traffic diversions.

The traffic will be diverted at the following points from 6 AM on 5th September to 6 AM on 6th September 2017.

Traffic Diversions in the City:

South: Keshavagiri, Mahaboobnagar X Roads, Engine Bowli, Nagul Chintha, Himmathpura, Hari Bowli, Asra Hopsital, Mogulpura, Lakkad Kote, Madina X Road, MJ Bridge, Dar Ul Shifa X Roads, City College.

East: Chanchalguda Jail X Roads, Moosarambagh, Chaderghat Bridge, Salarjung Bridge (Shivaji Bridge), Afzalgunj, Puthilibowli X Roads, Troop Bazar, Jambagh X Roads, Andhra Bank Koti,

West: Tope Khana Mosque, Alaska Hotel Junction, Osman ganj, Sanker Bagh and Seena Hotel, Ajantha Gate near Exhibition Grounds, Abkari Lane, Taj Island, Barthan Bazar, AR Petrol Pump at KLK Building,

Central: Chappel Road Entry, Gadwal Centre at the GPO, Shalimar Theatre, Gun foundry, Skyline Road Entry, Bharath Scouts & Guides Junction in Domalguda, Kalanjali at Control Room, Liberty Junction, MCH Office Y junction, BRK Bhavan junction near Telugu Thalli Junction, Iqbal Minar, Ravindra Bharathi, Dwaraka Hotel Junction, Khairatabad Junction (Visweswaraiah Statue), Children’s Park, Viceroy Hotel junction, Kawadiguda Junction, Katta Maisamma Temple at Lower Tank Bund, Indira Park Junction

North: Traffic will not be allowed to enter the Necklace Road and Upper Tank Bund from Karbala Maidan, Buddha Bhavan, Sailing Club, Nallagutta Junction.

Heavy vehicles will not be allowed to enter the ply on the Balanagar to Fathenagar Bridge, Erragadda, Miyapur, Ferojguda, gudenmet, Narsapur etc.
