Hyderabad: Sword Stunt Killed Teen After Being Denied Treatment

A 16 sixteen-year-old boy was killed in a tragic incident that took place in Hyderabad at an engagement function. The boy was trying to make stunts with swords and unfortunately got injured. This incident took place at Shaikpet, Hyderabad on Friday night.

The boy was identified as Syed Hameed who is a class 10 student in Hyderabad. He attended an engagement ceremony where he injured with a deep cut of the sword. He was taken to the hospital immediately once his position is getting worse.

He was refused treatment and taken to another hospital which also refused to treat him. Both the hospitals refused to treat his as they are not properly equipped with the instruments to treat such deep arterial wounds.

The boy was dead by the time he was taken to the third hospital.

The family claimed that a 20-year-old young boy named Mohammad Junaid performed sword stunts organized by groom`s family. He was doing somersaults with two welding swords with him. The youth fell on to a gathering after losing control on the stunts.

“The person who was doing the stunts tried to attack my elder son, but others stopped him, but minutes later he injured our younger son, killing him,” she said.

He was asked to stop the stunts but his friends encouraged him to continue it. The person performing stunts is arrested at the Raidurgam Police station. The police have reported that the incident was purely accidental.
