A 15-year-old Indian boy was sodomized by a 40-year-old bouncer inside a gated society complex in Sector 56, Gurgaon, on the evening of Thursday.
The boy, who is a class 10 student in a private school in Gurgaon, was raped by a bouncer of the security team of the gated complex of the residence, where the boy was living with his family.
According to the Gurgaon Police, the incident happened on the evening of January 9, 2020, by 10 pm, when the boy went downstairs and sat next to a security guard, who was using a heater to protect himself from getting cold.
In the police complaint that was registered by the father of the victim, he said the bouncer, who was fired from his job days before the incident happened, joined his son and the security guard.
The father said in the FIR: “After ten minutes, my son left them and took the stairs to our house on the fourth floor. He had reached the third floor when the bouncer caught up with him using the lift.”
He added, “He forced my son into the lift and took him to his rented room on the eighth floor of the tower.”
He continued, “The suspect bolted the door and forced my son on the bed. He disrobed him after threatening him and sodomized him.”
The Gurgaon police said the 40-year-old bouncer offered the boy money and raped him.
He later went to the washroom, allowing the boy to get dressed up and escape.
The 15-year-old boy went straight to his house and shared his ordeal with his family, who then reported the incident to the local police.
The investigating officer in the case said the bouncer was fired by the security staff of the society a couple of days before the incident happened.
The police said the 40-year-old bouncer is yet to be arrested.
Hindustan Times tried to contact the residents’ welfare association of the social complex and the agency looking after its security but failed after a number of attempts.
The police registered a case against the 40-year-old bouncer under the Section 4 (penetrative sexual assault) of the Protection of Children from Sexual Offences (POCSO) Act at Sector 56 police station.
