The Vakola Police in Mumbai detained 2 17-year-old boys on Saturday for demanding sexual favors from a 17-year-old girl by blackmailing her with her nude images. The 17-year-old victim also tried to commit suicide after the boys started to blackmail her.

The girl, who is in Class 9, was dating one of the detained boys and sent nude images to him 2months ago.

The boy then shared her nude images with one of his friends, who later started to blackmail her.

A police officer from the Vakola Police Department said the 17-year-old boy then contacted the girl and started to demand sexual favors from her.

The boy told the girl that he would “delete the images if she fulfilled his demands.”

On October 29, 2019, the 17-year-old girl consumed poison and was rushed to a government hospital in Mumbai.

When the girl regained consciousness, she lied to her parents and told them that she consumed poison after they wouldn’t let her play football.

But on November 2, 2019, the girl broke out and told her parents about the threats that she was receiving.

The parents of the girl went to the Vakola Police Station and filed a complaint against the 2 boys, who were later detained.

Authorities detained the boys after an FIR was registered against their names.

The 2 boys are currently facing charges under relevant sections of the Indian Penal Code, Protection of Children from Sexual Offences, and Information Technology Act.

Because the 2 boys are still underage, they were sent to the Dongri Children’s Home.

The current state of the girl was not shared with the public.
