An 18-year-old boy from Bareilly, Uttar Pradesh, accidentally shot himself on his temple during a TikTok shoot.

Keshav, the 18-year-old boy, died after a loaded revolver accidentally went off while he was shooting a TikTok video in a village in Bareilly, Uttar Pradesh.

The incident happened on Monday in Mudia Bhaikampur village of Nawabganj in Bareilly District.

Circle Officer of the Nawabganj Police Station, Yogendra Kumar, said the 18-year-old teen pressured his mother Savitri to give him the revolver for the video shoot.

The family was not aware that the revolver was loaded.

Savitri, the mother, went out to do some household chores when her son shot himself.

She heard the sound of a gunshot and rushed inside to find Keshav, lying in a pool of blood.

The 18-year-old was rushed to a hospital in the area with injuries on his temple.

The doctors declared him dead upon arrival.

Officer Kumar said an investigation has been launched for the incident.
