22-year-old woman commits suicide by jumping off the terrace of a hospital after the death of her daughter

Alka Sharma, the Chief Medical Superintendent of a district hospital in Bareilly, said that a 22-year-old woman committed suicide by jumping off the terrace of a hospital after her baby girl passed away.

Chief Sharma added that the woman was depressed over the death of her daughter.

The newborn baby passed away just a couple of hours after she was born.

The woman was supposed to be discharged from the district hospital on June 16, 2019, and instead of going home, the 22-year-old woman committed suicide.
