32-Year-Old Man Suspected To Have Coronavirus Commits Suicide At Quarantine Facility In India

Greater Noida, India: A 32-year-old man that was suspected to have the coronavirus, committed suicide at a quarantine facility.

The man reportedly jumped to death from the seventh floor of a Greater Noida private college where he was put in quarantine.

Suhas L Y, the District Magistrate, said that the test result of the man is still being waited to arrive.

District Magistrate Suhas said:

“The man was kept at the quarantine centre in Galgotia Engineering College in Greater Noida where he jumped to death from the seventh floor of the building on Sunday.”

An official magisterial inquiry has been launched for the incident.

DM Suhas added:

“The inquiry will be conducted by the additional District Magistrate (Administration).”

The name of the man was not shared with the public.
