A 40-year-old woman was raped by 3 men in a government school where she was staying for the night during a travel back to her original state, said the police on Saturday.

According to the Modhopur Police, the incident happened on the evening of Thursday (April 23, 2020).

In a statement that the woman gave to the police, she said that she was staying at a school that is under the jurisdiction of the Batod Police Station to take rest as she decided to walk down to her house in Jaipur Rajasthan.

On the evening on April 23, 2020, she was trying to rest in the school, but 3 men came and raped her.

The woman was traveling from Sawai Modhopur to Jaipur, Rajasthan.

The 3 men, who have been identified as Rishikesh Meena, Lakhan Regar, and Kamal Kharwal, were arrested by the police after the woman registered a complaint against them.

DSP (Deputy Superintendent of Police) said that the 3 men have been produced before a court.

A medical examination of the woman was done and her statement has been recorded.

The woman was staying alone as her son is currently in the Dausa jail.
