Sitapur, Uttar Pradesh: The police arrested 6 men for raping a 13-year-old girl during the coronavirus lockdown.

According to the police, 2 men raped the girl and 4 of them recorded the entire ordeal.

SP (Superintendent of Police) LR Kumar said that the police have arrested all 6 of the men.

In a statement SP Kumar released, he said:

“The girl was on her way back home when she was forcibly taken to a secluded school building by the six men. While two of them, who are from the same locality as the girl, raped her, the other four filmed the act.”

The 6 men have been arrested by the police and are currently being questioned for their horrible acts.

A case has been registered under relevant sections of the Indian Penal Code and the Protection of Children from Sexual Offences (POCSO) Act against the 6 men, added SP Kumar.

After raping the girl, the 6 men told the girl not to report the incident to anyone or they will do something horrible to her.

The 13-year-old girl, whose identity was kept, was sent for a medical examination to confirm that she was raped.
