Meerut, India: The Meerut police registered a complaint against 4 minors for raping an 8-year-old girl who has an impaired hearing, officials said one of the accused is the 12-year-old brother of the minor.

AP Misra, an Inspector of the Kanker Khera Police Station in Meerut, said that the friends of her 12-year-old brother had been raping the girl for the past month.

But the crime only came to light on Sunday.

On August 4, 2019, the girl was playing outside her home in Meerut when one of the boys lured her with candies and brought her to a house that was abandoned.

Along with the 3 minors was the 12-year-old brother of the 8-year-old girl.

The 4 raped the minor and fled from the area after raping her.

Officer Misra said that the 8-year-old girl managed to go back to their house and told what her brother and the 3 minors did to her.

The parents of the 8-year-old girl brought her to the police station and registered an FIR about their accusations.

When the police questioned the brother of the victim, he confessed the crime and dropped the names of the 3 minors who raped her sister.

The girl told the police that her brother was also involved in the crime.

The 3 minors have been arrested, Officer Misra said they are between 12 to 14-years-old.

The 4 minors are currently facing charges under the Protection of Children from Sexual Offences (POCSO) Act.

The 8-year-old girl is currently admitted in a hospital and will be undergoing a medical examination that will confirm the rape.

Before committing the crime, it is reported that the 4 kids watched pornographic videos on one of their smartphones.

The 4 kids were brought in a juvenile justice court in Meerut on Monday.

The court announced that the 4 kids will be sent to a juvenile home.
