Caught On Cam: RPF Constable Puts His Life At Risk To Save Passenger In Thane Railway Station
An RPF (Railway Protection Force) Constable risked his life by jumping on the tracks of a railway station in Maharashtra to save a man from being run over by an approaching train in the latest courageous move by our officers.
The incident reportedly happened at the Thane Station in Maharashtra, India.
The CCTV footage shows a man crossing the tracks as the train was approaching at the railway station when RPF Constable Anil Kumar jumped onto the tracks and stopped the man.

Constable Kumar hauled the man back to the platform seconds before the train arrived.
If Constable Kumar failed to get back on the platform, the 2 would have sustained life-threatening injuries.
A number of watchers of the video congratulated the courageous act of the constable, but many were heard saying the passenger should be punished for trying to cross the tracks illegally.
