CBSE 12th Class Toppers List 2016 Pass Percentage Results Analysis

The Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE) declared 12th class results 2016 today. Candidates who had appeared for the exam checked their results. CBSE 12th Class Toppers List & Pass Percentage 2016:

The Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE) is a Board of Education for public and private schools, under the Union Government of India. CBSE affiliates all Kendriya Vidyalayas, all Jawahar Navodaya Vidyalayas, private schools and most of the schools approved by central government of India. CBSE conducts the final examinations for Class 10 and Class 12 every year in the month of March. The results are announced by the end of May.

CBSE Class 12 Toppers List 2016 & Pass Percentage:

The topper is a Delhi student. Sukriti Gupta from Montfort School in Ashok Vihar, the topper, scored 497 marks out of 500. At second position is Palak Goel from Kurukshetra, Haryana with 496 marks.

In the differently-abled category, Mudita Jagota, a student from Faridabad is the topper.

According to CBSE officials, the pass percentage this year has increased by a marginal 1.05 per cent (83.05%) as compared to last year’s 82 per cent. In terms of pass percentage, girls (88.58) performed better than boys (78.85) this time.

Thiruvananthapuram region has the highest overall pass percentage at 97.61 percent, followed by Chennai.

CBSE Class 12 Toppers List & Pass Percentage 2015:

The overall pass percentage has reached 82 percent, last year. Girls have outdone boys acquiring a pass percentage of 87.56 whereas only 77.77 percentage of boys have qualified the exams. Thiruvananthapuram region tops the pass percentage chart; 95.41 percent of candidates have qualified the exams from this region.

M.Gayatri from New Green Fields school has topped the Board scoring 496 (99.2 per cent) marks. And the second rank is shared by Mythili Mishra from Amity International School, Noida, B. Arjun from Kendriya Vidyalaya, Trivandrum and Saurabh Bhambri from KRM World School, G.K, New Delhi. All three scored 495 marks, i.e. 99 percent.
