Baffled after a street was blocked for quite a long time, one man in Ferozaba, Uttar Pradesh, hurried to the police headquarters to file a complaint.

As indicated by an IANS report, the person was apparently trapped in an enraging road turned parking lot at the Subhash crossing point in Ferozabad on Tuesday.

After the man named Sonu documented a complaint, the cops chose to give him a painful but much-needed insight.

SP Sachindra Patel, rather, approached Sonu to deal with the traffic for two hours and assigned him as “traffic volunteer” in the position of circle official.

Sonu wore a helmet and traffic safety vest, sat in a police SUV, with a few other cops going with him, and approached overseeing traffic at the intersection.

Ferozabad traffic inspector Ramdutt Sharma, who went with Sonu, stated, “Challans were given to eight vehicles, for driving on an inappropriate roadside and wrong parking. A sum of Rs 1,600 was gathered as fine.

“The fine amount would be paid by the guilty parties at the traffic office. We will proceed with this experiment and guarantee better community cooperation in improving rush hour gridlock situations. We followed Sonu’s directions for two hours and successfully controlled the traffic stream and figured out how to decongest the street,” Ramdutt Sharma included.

Sonu stated, “The trial has caused me to understand the issues of traffic constables and the issue that emerges when we, individuals from people in general, mock guidelines. In the event that one vehicle messes up, the whole framework gets tossed out of gear. I have certainly become an increasingly capable resident after this experiment.”

The idea of community cooperation to deal with traffic was executed as a test in Ludhiana prior to this year.

As per The Tribune report, the Ludhiana police launched a ‘traffic marshal scheme’ with the goal to request individuals’ cooperation in rush hour gridlock guidelines.

The traffic marshal scheme was launched in Ludhiana on Republic Day, where more than 336 inhabitants have been conveyed as traffic marshals at 28 street intersections focuses in the city.

The plan is intended to include individuals’ participation in the guideline of traffic with the end goal of guaranteeing smooth movements of vehicular traffic and to instilling street sense, stated the report.
