Federal Board of Intermediate and Secondary Education, Islamabad is the Intermediate Education Governmental body in Pakistan and overseas Pakistani schools. It is authorized with financial and administrative authority to organize, manage, regulate, develop and control intermediate and secondary education in general and accomplish examinations in the institutions affiliated with it.

About of 63,711 regular students had appeared in the exam out of which 58,081 candidates cleared the examination. The pass percentage is 91.61. And a total of 19,183 private and ex-students had written the exam out of which 7809 candidates declared successful. The overall pass percentage of regular, private and ex-candidates remained 74.71% in which first three positions were female candidates.
