A 31-year-old man, who was reportedly haunted by his brother’s ghost, was found dead inside his house with his throat slit in Thane, Mumbai.

According to reports, Tulsiram Chavan was found dead in the Narpoli area of Thane’s Bhiwandi township on Saturday.

Tulsiram was reportedly living alone after the death of his parents.

His sibling, who came to stay with him, died on February 2 this year.

The neighbor of Tulsiram reported the incident to the police.

According to the police, the woman said that Tulsiram often felt the presence of his dead brother in the house and that he was being attacked in his sleep.

The Narpoli Police Station released a statement about the incident.

The statement said, “The woman has told us that Mr Chavan informed her late Friday night that he used to feel the presence of his dead brother in the house, and that he was being attacked in his sleep.”

The statement added, “The woman asked him to sleep in her house. It was around 5am today that he went out and did not return. His body was found nearby at around 7:30am.”

A case of murder has been registered at the Narpoli Police Station.
