With proper use of anything, you can help people out and most importantly, yourself throughout the process.
A similar thing happened to a girl in Hyderabad, who was waiting outside a school classroom with hopes of getting leftovers from students.
Divya, the girl, was seen waiting outside a government school in Hyderabad as she was waiting for students to give her leftover food when someone took her picture and shared the picture on social media.
The picture was first pictured in a Telugu news agency and was posted as “Akali Choopu”, which means a hungry look.
The picture was taken at the Deval Jham Singh Government High School in Gudimalkapur, Hyderabad.
The parents of Divya collect garbage for a living, and couldn’t afford to send her to school.
Every time her parents would go out for work, Divya would go and visit the school.
Divya was then noticed by Venkat Reddy, the National Convenor at MV Foundation, an NGO working for girl child rights.
Mr. Reddy then posted an image of Divya on Facebook.
Mr. Reddy also shamed the system for not giving proper assistance to the girl and her family, especially for not giving her food and education.
Reddy didn’t wait for the authorities to step in and went on to talk with the staff of the school.
Mr. Reddy got Divya admitted to the school, and shared an image of her wearing a school uniform for the first time in her life.
Thanks to people like Mr. Reddy, kids in India who are less-fortunate still have a good future.
Thank you, Mr. Reddy! Faith in humanity restored sir.
