IBPS RRB CWE V Prelims Review Analysis & Cutoff Marks 2016:
Institute of Banking Personnel Selection (IBPS) is an autonomous agency in India, which started its operation in 1975 as Personnel Selection Services (PSS). In 1984, IBPS became an independent entity at the behest of Reserve Bank of India (RBI) and Public Sector Banks. IBPS CWE is now mandatory for anyone who seeks an employment in 20 public sectors and Regional Rural banks. IBPS periodically accepts the exam applications from the candidates at their website, and the exams are organized at various locations in the country in online mode. This year it has released the recruitment notification for the RRB Clerk posts and the candidates who had appeared for the exam can check the review & analysis here.
IBPS RRB V Cutoff Marks:
The cutoff marks for the exam depends on the difficulty level of the paper, number of candidates appeared for the exam, total number of posts etc. We will update IBPS RRB Clerk Cutoff marks here.
IBPS RRB Clerk Prelims Slot I Overall Analysis:
The examination has two sections i.e; Reasoning and Quantitative Aptitude. A total of 80 questions are asked in the exam. The overall exam is easy to moderate. Out of two setions, Reasoning is moderate and Quantitative Aptitude is difficult. You can check the sectional wise review here.

Reasoning Ability: (Easy-Moderate)
The Reasoning was Moderate. The questions were asked from various topics and there are less number of puzzle questions.
- Syllogism – 5 Questions – Moderate
- Puzzles (Linear and Circular) – 10 Questions – Moderate
- Inequality – 5 Questions – Easy
- Direction and Blood Relation Questions – 5 – Easy
- Alpha-Numeric Series – 5 – easy
- Miscellaneous (Ranking, Alpha-Numerical, Direction Sense, Blood Relations, etc.) – 10 – Moderate
Quantitative Aptitude:
The questions were as usual that IBPS have been asking in the year 2016. The questions were not hard to attempt but were time-consuming
- Series – 5 Questions – Moderate
- Simplification – 10 Questions – Easy
- Approximation – 5 -Easy
- Data Interpretation – 5 – Moderate
- Miscellaneous – 15 – Moderate
