IIT JEE Advanced 2017 Registrations From Today Apply Online @ jeeadv.nic.in

The Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE) is scheduled to conduct JEE Advanced 2017 on 21st May. Students who have cleared the JEE Main 2017 and qualified for the JEE Advanced Examination can fill the Online Applications Forms for JEE Advanced from 10 am today.

IIT JEE 2017 is a national level exam which is conducted for admissions into various undergraduate programmes in IIT’s located in Bhubaneswar, Bombay, Delhi,Gandhinagar, Guwahati, Hyderabad, Indore, Jodhpur, Kanpur, Kharagpur, Mandi, Madras, Palakkad, Patna, Ropar, Roorkee, Tirupati, Banaras Hindu University (IIT-BHU) Varanasi and Indian School of Mines (ISM) Dhanbad for the academic session 2017-18.

JEE Advanced 2017 Registration Process:

The Joint Entrance Examination – Advanced (JEE – Advanced), formerly Indian Institutes of Technology-Joint Entrance Examination (IIT-JEE) is an annual engineering college entrance examination in India. It is used as the sole admission test by the 23 Indian Institutes of Technology (IITs). The examination is organized each year by one of the various IITs, on a round robin rotation pattern. It has a very low admission rate (about 10,000 in 660,000 in 2012), and was thus recognized as one of the toughest examinations in the world.

JEE Advanced 2017 Eligibility Criteria:

Educational qualification:

The candidates should be among the top 2,20,000 (including all categories) by scoring positive marks in paper-1 of JEE (Main) 2017.

JEE Advanced Cutoff Scores 2017:

OBC-NCL: 81
SC: 32
ST: 27
PWD: 1

As per the brochure released, candidates should also be amongst the Top 20 percentile to be eligible for admission into the premium engineering institutions.
