He explained, “Instead of praying to other gods, I started praying to him. My love for him has transformed into reverence.”
Krishna, who is 37 years old, started worshiping President Trump 4 years ago when he came to him in a dream.
After the dream, Krishna hired 15 laborers tow work with him for 1 month so he could make the 6-foot statue in his village in the southern state of Telangana.
During an interview with NDTV, Krishna said, “He is like a god to me, that is the reason I had his statue built.”
In the shrine that he has in his garden, Trump can be seen in a red tie and blue suit with his right arm raised in a wave.
He told NDTV, “Every Friday I fast for Trump’s long life. I also carry his picture and pray to him before commencing any work.”
Krishna is locally known as Trump Krishna and his statue-adorned house is called by locals as the Trump House.
Ramesh Reddy, the friend of Krishna, said, “The villagers never objected to it but appreciated his devotion.”
Krishna is keen on meeting President Donald Trump when he makes his first state visit to the country next week.
He is currently begging and requesting the government of the country to help him make his dream come true.
