LG Launched LG Spirit LTE, LG G4 Stylus VoLTE, VoWiFi Enabled Smartphones in India

LG Electronics, one of the popular Electronics manufacturers has today launched two smartphones in India namely LG Spirit LTE and LG G4 Stylus 4G. The company has manufactured both the devices enabled with Voice over LTE (VoLTE) and Voice over Wi-Fi (VoWiFi) support. The Company hasn’t revealed the pricing of both the handsets officially. LG has also entered in an exclusive partnership with Reliance Retail to sell these devices across the country through different multi-brand outlets.

The amazing features of Spirit LTE and G4 Stylus 4G are their VoLTE and VoWiFi capabilities. VoLTE basically allows operators to handle cellular voice calls over LTE networks, which results in HD voice clarity, faster call connectivity among others. VoWiFi is another best feature that allow the smartphones to switch between mobile network and Wi-Fi during voice calls, which is an advantage for users with poor cellular coverage at their domicile.

Specifications of Spirit LTE

The LG Spirit LTE features a 4.7-inch HD display with a pixel density of 312 ppi. The handset is powered by a 1.3GHz quad-core processor which is paired with 1GB RAM. The device runs on the latest Android 5.0 Lollipop operating system. The smartphone comes with an 8MP rear snapper with LED flash and a 1MP front-facing camera. In terms of storage, the device supports 8GB onboard storage which can be further expanded up to 32GB via microSD card slot. The LG Spirit LTE is backed by a 2,100mAh battery.

The handset also supports features such as Gesture shot, Touch & Shoot, Knock code and Front camera light. The Knock code allows users to access the home screen with over 86,000 possible codes by simply tapping a personalised pattern anywhere on the display. It is a dual-SIM smartphone.

Specifications of G4 Stylus VoLTE

The LG G4 Stylus 4G features a 5.7-inch display with 720 x 1280 pixels of resolution. The handset accommodates a rubber drum stylus for taking notes. The device is powered by a 1.2GHz quad-core Qualcomm Snapdragon 400 processor coupled with 1GB RAM. On the Camera front, the handset comes with a 13-megapixel rear snapper and a 5-megapixel front-facing camera. In terms of storage, the device sports 8GB onboard storage which can be further expanded via microSD card.

The G4 Stylus runs Android Lollipop and gets its UI from the 2015 flagship G4 that features UX 4.0. The connectivity options include Wi-Fi 802.11 a/b/g/n, Bluetooth 4.1, NFC, A-GPS, GLONASS and microUSB. The device measures 154.3 x 79.2 x 9.6mm and weighs 163 grams. The device is backed by a 3000mAh removable battery. The other features of the G4 Stylus include Gesture shot with a three-second countdown for the shutter, Knock code for unlocking the phone with personalised pattern and Glance View to see key notifications on the display when it is off.

Price & Availability

LG hasn’t revealed the pricing detail of these smartphones, but they are available online. The Spirit LTE was spotted on eBay India with a price tag of Rs 13,350 while the LG G4 Stylus 4G is listed on the company’s website with a price tag of Rs 21,199. LG has made available the 3G variants which are currently listed on the official website of LG, priced at Rs 13,000 and Rs 22,000 respectively.
