“The thing which I regret the most is that I was given medicines really late. I was not given any medication for about four hours,” he said.
Post the complaint, the Railways responded that they issued a 48-hour notice on the matter. The divisional railway manager of Danapur division, Kishor Kumar, condemned the incident and assured a detailed enquiry in the matter. Talking about the same, Kumar said, “It is a very unfortunate incident. A detailed enquiry would be conducted in the case and necessary action would be taken.”
He then added that he deeply regrets the happening and assured that it won’t ever happen again, stated that passenger’s health is the primary concern at any cost. “Our concern was the health of all the passengers. All the passengers were attended and it was ensured that the passengers were given the necessary health treatment.”

Exactly, a week earlier to this, the Controller and Auditing General of India has said that the food in the Railways is absurd and proper inspection must be done. He even said that even the expired food is served sometimes, with the foul smells of fungal growth, rats, and cockroaches that were found in the pantry cars of even premier trains, many serious measures must be undertaken.
