Sanjay Leela Bhansali’s 2002 film Devdas, starring Shah Rukh Khan, Madhuri Dixit and Aishwarya Rai, completed 14 years of its release on July 12. And to mark the occasion, Madhuri Dixit, who played Chandramukhi in the film, Dubsmashed one of SRK’s famous Devdas dialogues with Varun Dhawan. And it’s hilarious!
Varun met Madhuri on the sets of ‘So You Think You Can Dance’, a dance-based reality show, where he promoted his upcoming action adventure film ‘Dishoom’. The 49-year-old dancing diva, who is one of the judges of the show, made her Dubsmash debut, assisted by Varun. The results are funny and enjoyable, to say the least. Moreover, their expressions are pretty spot on.
The actress later shared her first dubsmash video reenacting the famous Devdas dialogue on Twitter.

SRK joined in the fun by addressing Madhuri as Chandru (as she played Chandramukhi in the film) and commenting that DhawanDas was no DevDas because he’s too health conscious to drink and wondering what’s happened to Madhuri’s voice.

On Tuesday, #14YearsOfDevdas trended almost throughout the day. Shah Rukh wrote on Twitter that Devdas will always be special for him.
