Ratlam, Madhya Pradesh: A 25-year-old woman was stabbed in the neck, which caused her neck, a couple of hours before her wedding.
The incident was confirmed by the authorities in Ratlam, Madhya Pradesh, a state in India.
According to preliminary investigations, the victim and her sister were visiting a beauty parlor when a man entered the parlor and stabbed her in the neck before fleeing away.
The woman, whose identity was not shared with the public, went to the beauty parlor with her sister in Jaora on Sunday to get ready for her wedding ceremony, which was supposed to be held in the evening.
The man, who the authorities are looking for, fled the spot after the incident.
Gaurav Tiwari, a police officer that is handling the case, said:
The victim and her sister were at the beauty parlour in the morning when a man entered and stabbed her in the neck and fled. She was rushed to a hospital where doctors declared her dead on arrival. We have got clues about the accused and the case will be solved soon. The woman and her family are from Shajapur and she was to get married on Sunday evening to a man from Nagda.
An official hunt has been launched for the man.
