Man Goes Out To Buy Groceries, Comes Back Home With Wife

Due to the nationwide coronavirus lockdown, people have been staying inside their houses most of the time, and only go outside to buy essentials.

But imagine when you go outside to buy groceries and end up bringing home a wife, well, that did happen.

In Ghaziabad, Uttar Pradesh, India, a man went out to buy groceries but came back with a wife.

Another funny thing about this is that the mother of the man did not allow him to enter the son due to his unexpected act.

Instead of accepting his daughter-in-law, the mother went straight to the police and registered a complaint.

The incident happened in the Sahibabad area of the city.

The mother, who was crying when she informed the police about the incident, said:

I had sent my son to do the grocery shopping today, but when he returned, he came back with his wife. I am not ready to accept this marriage.

It is said that the wedding took place at the Arya Samaj Mandir in Hardwar 2 months ago.

The son and his wife are hopeful that they will get a marriage certificate once the coronavirus lockdown gets lifted.

Guddu, the 26-year-old man, said:

We could not get the marriage certificate at that time due to lack of witnesses. I had decided to visit Haridwar again but could not due to the lockdown.

Guddu brought Savita, his wife, to their house after she was asked to vacate the rented accommodation in Delhi she was staying at due to the lockdown.

Guddu said:

Today I decided to bring her to my mother’s house as she was told to leave the rented accommodation due to lockdown.

I hope I was like Guddu, you know, go out, buy some groceries and end up coming back with a wife.
