Members Of The Rajya Sabha Asks Affairs Minister To Take Action On Israeli Liquor Company For Placing Mahatma Gandhi’s Picture On Liquor Bottles

The members of the Rajya Sabha have raised their convers over a new issue that includes a picture of Mahatma Gandhi on liquor bottles of an Israeli Company.

The members of the Rajya Sabha have asked the Chair to direct S Jaishankar, the Affairs Minister of India, to take this concern seriously and take action for it.

Sanjay Singh, a member of the Aam Aadmi Part, raised the issue and said that an Israeli Liquor Company has insulted Mahatma Gandhi, who is considered as the father of the nation, by printing his picture on liquor bottles.

Sanjay Singh has asked the Chair of the Rajya Sabha to take quick action against the company and ask the company to remove the picture of Mahatma Gandhi on the bottles.

M Venkaiah Naidu, the Chairman, called the issue as serious.

Chairman Naidu asked S Jaishankar to take a look into the serious matter.

Chairman Naidu added that the Minister should take appropriate action as soon as possible.
