Muslim Godman Who Healed People By Kissing Their Hands Dies Of COVID-19 And Infects 19 People

Madhya Pradesh, India: A Muslim godman from Madhya Pradesh, India, has died of the coronavirus after he claimed he could cure coronavirus patients by kissing their hands.

Not only that, but the man has also infected 19 people.

As soon as the death of Aslam was announced to the public, the police launched a search party for the people that had visited the self-proclaimed godman.

After identifying the people, authorities sent the blood samples of the man for testing, which led them to find out that 19 people have tested positive for the disease.

Aslam guaranteed to cure the coronavirus by kissing the hands of the patients that come to him.

It is said that out of the 24 patients that were found positive in Ratlam, 13 of them came in contact with the self-proclaimed godman.

On June 7, 2020, 6 people from the Nayapura district that got tested for the coronavirus were all in contact with the healer.

19 of the 85 coronavirus positive cases in the district were in contact with Aslam, said the authorities.

Dr. Pramod Prajapati, a Nodal Officer, said that the method these healers use is particularly dangerous as it is a known way to carry out the disease to other people in a faster way.

Officer Prajapati said that black magic healers blow into the water that they make their patients drink.

For those that do not know, the coronavirus is transmitted from a person to person through small droplets from the nose or mouth, so the method that is used by black magic healers is not right and is a potent virus carrier.
