New Delhi Hospital Guard Brutally Beaten Up By Neighbor For  Spreading Coronavirus

New Delhi, India: A security guard of the GTB hospital, which is operated by the Delhi Government, was brutally beaten up by his neighbor for allegedly spreading the coronavirus.

Vijay Kumar, the victim, a resident of Harsh Vihar, worked at a security guard at the GTB Hospital.

The incident reportedly happened in the Harsh Vihar area of Northeast Delhi on June 19, 2020, when Vijay Kumar, the victim, and Vikas Gautam, got into a heated argument when they were at the terrace of their apartment.

An argument broke out between them after Gautam accused Kumar of spreading the coronavirus as he was working at a government-run hospital.

After the argument, Gautam beat up the guard, who was taken to a nearby hospital.

On the complaint of the guard, Ved Prakash Surya, a senior police officer, said a case was registered and the accused was arrested.

The allegations were made by the victim are being verified by the authorities.

An official investigation has been launched by the police.

The GTB (Guru Teg Bahadur) Hospital is a dedicated coronavirus facility in New Delhi, India.
