A police dog that worked for the Maharashtra Police Department and helped the authorities solve 365 cases has passed away.
Rocky passed away on August 16, 2020, and got a farewell from his fellow police personnel for the amazing things that he had done.
According to reports, Rocky was part of the Maharashtra Police Department and was working for the authorities in Beed.
The Beed Police Department released a statement about the death of the pooch on social media, where they said:
At 4pm today, Rocky, our canine companion and colleague passed away due to a long illness. He had helped in the solving of 365 cases. The Beed Police family is deeply pained by his demise. A tribute was paid to the brave dog.
Anil Deshmukh, the Home Minister of Maharashtra, also sent his goodbye to Rocky on Twitter.
It is believed that Rocky helped the Mumbai police in tackling and solving terrorist, terrorist attacks, bomb squads, crimes, and disposal cases.
He was working with the Beed Police Department and along with other police teams.
