Punjab: 5 Armed Intruders Shot Dead By Indian Border Security Force Along Khemkaran Border In Tarn Taran
Punjab, India: 5 armed infiltrators were shot dead by the Border Security Force in an encounter along with the Indian-Pakistan border in Punjab today.

The infiltrators, who were seen carrying an AK-47 gun, were trying to enter India through the Khemkaran Border area in the Tarn Taran district.
They were spotted by the BSF Patrol Team at the Khemkaran Border.
The BSF said the 5 men were told to stop, however, they did not and ended up firing the troops.
As a result, the BSF Team retaliated and ended up killing the 5 intruders.
BSF Officials said that the incident happened at around 4:45 am on August 22, 2020.
An official statement is yet to be released by the BSF or the local authorities in the Tarn Taran District of Punjab.
